Boone, NC 28607
(828) 263-430
booneshine.beer

Booneshine started on January 8th, 2012 with a conversation at a local yogurt shop. The brewery opened in July 2015 next door to Basil’s restaurant, operating in 1,200 square feet with three 10bbl fermentation tanks. We started mobile canning in March 2017 and were operating at maximum capacity. Booneshine needed more space to continue growing. Booneshine acquired the East Boone property in late 2017. We immediately saw the potential for both brewing operations and the tasting room and restaurant. By mid-2018, brewing operations moved to East Boone along with more than double the fermentation capacity. The tasting room and restaurant opened in July, 2019. In March 2020 we purchased a food truck, built seating, and the High Country’s largest outdoor beer garden was born. Today the beer garden is host to trivia nights, music, private parties and has become a place to meet with old and new friends.

Unique spaces. Creative menu. Delicious beer. From business meetings to special occasions, we want you to be our guest for your next event.

The dream of Town Brewing Company began as four home brewers were holding court in a garage on a Saturday afternoon brew day. The creative juices were flowing, and then a voice broke through the sipping silence, “We should start a brewery.” “Hell yeah” echoed back. Heads nodded. Glasses rose. It was a scene that was happening in garages across the country in 2010 with the sweet smell of steaming malted barley fueling those effervescent dreams.

Fast forward to 2017 and those homebrewers made good on that dream, once again in a garage. In the Wesley Heights Neighborhood of Charlotte an old automotive garage gave home to Town. After a long rehab and countless hours planning Wesley Heights gained its first brewery.
