Coming to the Hickory Hops festival from out of town? Why not take the opportunity to explore our evolving city. Formerly known as a manufacturing hub, and still home to excellent furniture marts, Hickory is growing into a creative center full of independent spirit.

There are several hotels located within a few miles of the festival site. Hickory Hops does not endorse any particular accommodation option. Hickory Hops is located at the heart of Downtown Hickory near many restaurants, banks, services, and retail shops. One of the best ways to learn about the area is to visit the Downtown Development Association’s official website, www.downtownhickory.com. Planning to make it a weekend in Hickory? Interested in exploring the cultural options? Check out the Hickory Community Theatre, just a couple of blocks from the festival. Or visit the Catawba Science Center or the Hickory Museum of Art both located less than a mile from the festival and easy to find as a part of the SALT block, including our local library, Western Piedmont Symphony and the Hickory Choral Society.
